Prototypes are an integral part of the UX design process. Whether it’s a low fidelity sketch or a high-fidelity HTML prototype, they allow me to test the usability of a concept quickly, before writing any code.

A prototype should have a clear purpose in order to gather feedback, get buy-in from stakeholders or recreate realistic page interactions and animations.

I often use Yeoman , an open-source tool, to get project’s up and running quickly. Need to quickly build a navigational strucuture? Install the Bootstrap web app generator and you can be setup in 30 seconds.
